Innovation and practice of continuous rigid-frame structure in construction of super-large span aqueduct

Abstract:In order to adapt to the construction of super-large span aqueduct in the new era,it is innovatedly proposed to take the variable box and variable cross-section box girder of aqueduct as the main girder structure of the continuous rigid-frame structure according to the technical route of integration of bridge and aqueduct on the basis of the digestion and assimilation of the experience from the construction of continuous rigid-frame structural bridge. After full studies made on the structure pattern,the structural mechanical and deformation performance and the construction technologies,the continuous rigid-frame structure aqueducts are applied to the constructions of Caodipo,Xujiawan,Hetougou and Jiaojia aqueducts for the main channel of the Phase I of Qianzhong Water Control Project,which are closed in the beginning of 2015,for which the corresponding monitoring data show that the structural performances meet the design prospection concerned,moreover the relevant water-filling test is successfully made as well.
